Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Redmi K90 series, which will see a new addition, the Pro Max model. This upper-end offering was recently revealed in teaser photos, which confirmed an interesting design. The phone has a speaker cutout next to the camera island, and the company has already confirmed that Bose has tuned the audio setup.
Now, with a fresh round of teasers, Xiaomi has detailed the 2.1 stereo system of the Redmi K90 Pro Max. As the brand reveals, the phone sports two "super-linear speakers," which are paired with an "extra-large woofer."
The company notes that with the tuning from Sound by Bose, this speaker setup can deliver rich details, clear vocals, and full bass. Xiaomi further highlights that the independent woofer allows the audio system to offer "deeper, powerful, and fuller low frequencies." However, there's still no word about the total audio power output.
With such a speaker setup, the Redmi K90 Pro Max should stand out from the other recently launched flagship phones. Speaking of which, the phone is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the current top-end SoC from Qualcomm.
Xiaomi's Redmi K90 Pro Max is set to sport a capable camera setup and the same display that's found in the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (available on TradingShenzhen). For all these, the company is touting that the phone is the strongest offering from the sub-brand to date. Other details about the smartphone could emerge before the October 23, 2025, release in China.
