Xiaomi will be fully unveiling the Redmi K90 Pro Max in China on October 23, 2025. While there's no word on when the phone may make a global debut, it's expected to land outside the Chinese market as the Poco F8 Ultra. Of course, the brand did share many other details of the flagship phone through recent teasers, including the 2.1 Bose-tuned speaker system.
With a recent teaser post, Xiaomi has also showcased the camera capabilities of this upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone. As the brand recently revealed, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature the same 1/1.31-inch 50 MP primary camera as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (available to import from TradingShenzhen), and the samples show that it has a relatively high dynamic range.
As for the telephoto, Xiaomi has revealed that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will have a telephoto sensor with support for 5x optical zoom and 10x "lossless zoom." The zoomed-in shots in the shared samples suggest that the sensor can capture detail-rich photos, and the portrait shots look good as well.
Now, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max may have a slight upper hand over the Redmi K90 Pro Max due to Leica tuning, but the samples demonstrate that the phone is more than capable of capturing decent shots. But then again, it's always a good idea to take these with a fair amount of salt, as brands don't usually stay fully honest with these pre-launch camera samples.
