It is no secret that Xiaomi is preparing a fleet of new high-end smartphones at mid-range prices. For instance, the company has confirmed that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will launch later this week in China. At this stage, it remains to be seen what other models will be joining it.
Regardless, what is now thought of as the Redmi K90 Pro Max emerged last week on Geekbench bearing the model number 25102RKBEC, 16 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Previously, this model number had been linked with 25102PCBEG, its presumed global counterpart.
Now, that second model number has emerged on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. Shown below, the NBTC listing essentially confirms that Xiaomi is working towards offering the 25102PCBEG globally. Not only that, but it is the first time that 25102PCBEG has been explicitly linked to the real name ‘Poco F8 Ultra’.
With that being said, the model number 25102PCBEG does not necessarily indicate that the Poco F8 Ultra will arrive before the first anniversary of the Poco F7 Ultra (curr. $755 on Amazon). Instead, the date ‘2510’, indicating October 2025, often refers to where a device is released first. In this case, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will launch this month. Thus, we are none the wiser about when the Poco F8 Ultra will launch globally at this stage.
