The Redmi K90 series was recently released in China, comprising two models: the Redmi K90 and the K90 Pro Max. Since the Redmi K80 was rebranded as the Poco F7 Pro in the global market, a similar rebrand is expected for the new Redmi K90. Therefore, it may launch as the Poco F8 Pro in markets outside China.
For now, the company has not revealed any details officially. However, the Poco F8 Pro's existence has now been confirmed through an NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification in Thailand. The certification does not reveal any key specifications of the device. However, it confirms that the model number "2510DPC44G" belongs to the global Poco F8 Pro.
This is not the only Poco F8 series smartphone that has been certified. Previously, the Poco F8 Ultra was also certified by NBTC with model number "25102PCBEG." The F8 Ultra could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max.
Regarding the release timeline, it's unclear when Xiaomi plans to launch the new performance-oriented devices. For reference, the Poco F7 series was introduced in March 2025. The Poco F6 series debuted in May 2024. Hence, there is no consistent launch pattern for the Poco F-series smartphones. Separately, a previous leak revealed the battery capacity and charging information of the Poco F8 Pro.
