By most accounts, Xiaomi is readying the Redmi K90 series to debut soon in China. The Redmi K90 Pro is expected to be badged as the Poco F8 Ultra for the global market, and a new leak has now outlined the phone's key features.
As shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Redmi K90 Pro will bridge the gap between the Redmi K-series and Xiaomi's main flagship lines, and is aimed at being a proper premium device like the Xiaomi 17 series phones. Like those phones, the Redmi K90 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, joined by class-leading battery capacity and 100 W charging.
As previously reported, the Redmi K90 Pro, and Poco F8 Ultra by extension, is set to be the first in the series to offer a truly premium camera system. A high-end main camera sensor is mooted, along with a periscope zoom lens. In addition, the source claims the phone will offer "flagship-level peripherals"—likely referring to features like haptics and under-display fingerprint reader—as well as top-tier audio.
