Poco F8 Ultra: Redmi K90 Pro makes Geekbench debut with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Android 16

The Redmi K90 series is expected to be unveiled later this month in China. Similar to the K80 series, Redmi may launch two models initially: the Redmi K90 and the K90 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, a Geekbench listing of the Redmi K90 Pro has surfaced.

The Redmi K90 Pro has made its Geekbench appearance with the model number "25102RKBEC." The listing reveals that it runs on the Android 16 operating system. Moreover, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 16GB of RAM. For those unaware, this is the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm, and it has powered the higher-end Xiaomi 17 series as well.

The Redmi K90 Pro scores 3,559 points in the single-core test and 11,060 points in the multi-core test. These scores are comparable to other Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones, including the upcoming OnePlus 15.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the Redmi K90 Pro is expected to feature a 6.59-inch flat display. It may use a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Moreover, the phone is tipped to have a large battery with 100W fast charging support.

In addition to the K90 Pro, the standard model is also expected to deliver a major performance upgrade. Compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor on its predecessor, the K90 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Since the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro were rebranded as the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra globally, the K90 and K90 Pro will likely launch as the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra in markets outside China. However, Redmi has not officially confirmed the global launch details yet.
