OnePlus is launching two new smartphones in China. The first device is the flagship OnePlus 15, which is a successor to the OnePlus 13. The second upcoming device is the OnePlus Ace 6, a more affordable offering. The company has now unveiled the exact launch details for the Chinese market.
OnePlus President Louis Lee has confirmed on Weibo that the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus Ace 6 will launch on October 27. Unfortunately, the company has yet to reveal the global release date of the phones. To recall, the OnePlus 13 launched in October 2024 in China and arrived in the US in January 2025. If recent rumors are to be believed, the OnePlus 15 may reach the global market a bit earlier.
Key highlights of the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6
The OnePlus 15 has been confirmed to feature a BOE X3 Oriental display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Earlier, a Geekbench listing of the OnePlus 15 indicated a 20% boost in single-core and multi-core tests compared to the OnePlus 13.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 6 may use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It also features a 165Hz screen. Rumors suggest it will pack a 7,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The design of the OnePlus 15 was already revealed a couple of weeks ago; however, the Ace 6's design has now also been revealed.
The OnePlus Ace 6 departs from the circular camera housing used on its predecessor. Instead, the Ace 6 features a pill-shaped camera module design. However, unlike the flagship device, the Ace 6 seems to have a dual rear camera setup, likely lacking a telephoto zoom lens. The leaked image shows the device in a silver color option. According to leaks, it may also come in white and black options. The device may launch in international markets as the OnePlus 15R.
