The iQoo 15 is confirmed to debut in China in October. Recently, the company has revealed its design and processor details. A prominent tipster has now shared detailed specifications of the device.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the iQoo 15 will feature a 6.85-inch display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. Unlike the OnePlus 15’s display that supports a 165Hz refresh rate, the iQoo 15 is tipped to stick with a 144Hz refresh rate display. It is said to be a flat display manufactured by Samsung.
The leak suggests a rear camera setup comprising a 50MP 1/1.5” primary sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The details on the ultrawide lens and the front selfie camera are unclear. Separately, the official iQoo account on Weibo has confirmed the presence of a periscope telephoto lens and also shared a few camera samples highlighting zoom performance.
The company officially revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It will also feature iQoo’s in-house Q3 chip, aiming to improve gaming performance similar to the Q2 chip used on the iQoo 13. Previous leaks suggest that it will come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The phone is said to feature a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. Additionally, the phone will support wireless charging.
The iQoo 15 is said to have symmetrical dual speakers. The device is said to feature water resistance, with the specific IP rating still undisclosed. Lastly, the tipster claims that the iQoo 15 will use a large X-axis linear vibration motor.
