Honor is expected to launch its flagship Magic 8 series in China sometime in October. Recently, the company confirmed that the Magic 8 series, including the standard Magic 8 and the Magic 8 Pro, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Now, the Pro model has surfaced on Geekbench.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro has appeared on Geekbench with the model number “BKQ-AN90.” The listing reveals that the phone features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with 16GB of RAM. Additionally, it is powered by Android 16. It scores 3,634 points in single-core and 10,813 points in multi-core tests. For comparison, the Magic 7 Pro that launched last year with Snapdragon 8 Elite scored 3,050 and 9,019 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. This represents a roughly 20% performance boost over last year’s model.
Expected specifications of the Honor Magic 8 Pro
According to a tipster on Weibo, the Honor Magic 8 Pro may feature a 6.71-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. It may use a 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support. The phone may come in multiple color options, including black and gold. It may weigh around 222g.
Recently, the company confirmed the Magic 8 Pro will feature a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens. In addition to the Magic 8 series, the company has confirmed that it is working on a flagship tablet called the MagicPad 3 Pro. Recently, a leak revealed key specifications of the upcoming tablet.
