The Honor Magic 8 series is an upcoming flagship Android smartphone lineup. Initially, the company is expected to introduce two models, the standard Magic 8 and the Magic 8 Pro. However, the series may introduce more models later, such as the Honor Magic 8 Ultra and the Magic 8 Mini.
For those unaware, the predecessor Honor Magic 7 series did not include an 'Ultra' model. Instead, the series featured the Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design as its top-of-the-line offering. Rumors suggest the Magic 8 series will drop the RSR Porsche Design edition in favor of the Magic 8 Ultra. A new leak has now revealed its camera details.
Tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo suggests the Honor Magic 8 Ultra will utilize a triple rear camera setup. It may use an OmniVision primary sensor and a new 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
A previous leak revealed that it will have a 6.9-inch tandem OLED display. As the series' top model, it is also speculated to feature a titanium alloy frame. Other specifications of the Honor Magic 8 Ultra are still unknown. However, it is likely to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The company is expected to release the Magic 8 and the Magic 8 Pro in mid-October in China. Meanwhile, the Magic 8 Ultra and the Magic 8 Mini are expected to launch together in early 2026.
