The Honor Magic 8 series is set to launch in China on October 15, 2025. Ahead of the official unveiling, the core specs of both the standard and Pro flagship phones have been shared by various known tipsters on Weibo.

Honor is gearing up to hold a relatively big launch event on October 15 in China. At this event, alongside a bunch of other products, the brand will fully unveil its first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship phones, the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro. So far, the company has shared the designs and some specs of the smartphones through recent teasers.

Now, the core specs of both the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro have emerged on Weibo, courtesy of notable tipsters like Digital Chat Station. As the credible leaker shares, the Magic 8 Pro is set to feature a 6.71-inch quaid-curved display with a 1.5K resolution.

The Pro flagship phone will reportedly come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and 3D face recognition technology. Digital Chat Station also shares that a 7,200 mAh battery will power the internals of the Magic 8 Pro, which will have support for 120 W fast charging.

As for the camera, the Honor Magic 8 Pro will reportedly sport a 50 MP 1/1.31-inch primary sensor on the back. It's said to be paired with a 50 MP ultrawide and 200 MP periscope telephoto with f/2.6 aperture and 85 mm focal length.
