RedMagic is gearing up to launch its new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gaming phone, the RedMagic 11 Pro. This smartphone is set to debut in China on October 17, 2025, but it seems that the phone won't be the only highlight of the event. The company has also teased a new gaming laptop, set to launch in the Chinese market on the same date.
This new gaming laptop, which is expected to launch in the global market as the RedMagic Titan 16 Pro 2026, is confirmed to feature a top-end CPU from the Intel Arrow Lake lineup. To be precise, RedMagic shares that it will pack the Core Ultra 9 275HX, which has a 24-core configuration and comes with the 4-core Arc iGPU.
The company also shares that the Intel CPU will be paired with the Nvidia RTX 5090 Laptop, the current top-end offering for mobile. This combination should make the upcoming RedMagic gaming laptop capable of smoothly handling all games at the 1440p resolution with the visual settings turned to max.
It's unclear whether the RedMagic Titan 16 Pro 2026 will be available in other configurations, but the company didn't offer any options for the last-gen gaming laptop in the global market. Speaking of which, the 2025 model comes with a 16-inch display, which is expected to stay the same on the upcoming system.
Moreover, the last-gen gaming laptop from RedMagic featured a sleek chassis, and it offered upgradeability options for both the RAM and storage (2 TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD curr. $159.99 on Amazon). However, we found that the cooling system wasn't up to the mark, which is something that the company has hopefully resolved in its upcoming RTX 5090 laptop.
