RedMagic 11 Pro set for imminent debut with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and water cooling

RedMagic is gearing up to launch a new gaming phone, the 11 Pro, which is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. While the company didn't share many details about the upcoming flagship, it has just revealed that the device is set to launch on October 17, 2025, in China.

The brand has also shared that the RedMagic 11 Pro will feature a water-cooled cooling setup, a first for the company's gaming phone lineup. It's called "Feng Shui dual cooling," suggesting that the water cooling will be paired with an active cooler, and this setup is said to allow the device to offer "unlimited power."

As for the other specs, the general manager of the brand recently shared that it will feature a large battery, possibly exceeding the 8,000 mAh capacity mark. This would be a noticeable upgrade over the 7,050 mAh battery found in the RedMagic 10 Pro. The charging speed could also see a bump (200 W Anker Prime desktop charger curr. $55.99 on Amazon).

Other than that, the RedMagic 11 Pro will retain the under-display selfie camera, have an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and, as the general manager recently teased, it will have a proper water-resistant rating, possibly IP68. As the launch date has already been revealed, the company is expected to officially disclose more details about the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gaming phone soon.
