Tuxedo is expanding its range of notebooks with another model variant. As always, the notebook is available with a customized version of Linux, but Windows can be easily ordered or subsequently installed. The InfinityBook Pro 15 comes with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H and without a dedicated graphics card. Up to three external monitors can be used in addition to the internal display. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a and DisplayPort 2.1 are available, so high-resolution monitors can be used.
There are two slots for DDR5 RAM, supporting either up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM or up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 RAM. Two M.2 2280 SSDs, including double-sided SSDs, can be installed, each connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes. The panel is an IPS display with a screen diagonal of 15.3 inches and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. It also supports a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz and Adaptive Sync, and is said to fully cover the sRGB color space. A brightness of 500 cd/m² is specified.
The notebook, which is around 20 millimeters thick, weighs 1.75 kilograms with the internally screwed-in battery. The display cover, upper and lower casing are made of aluminum, while the display frame is made of plastic. The battery has a capacity of 99 Wh and is charged via USB-C. A 150-watt power adapter is included. WiFi 6E and Gigabit Ethernet are available for network connectivity. The device features a Windows Hello-compatible webcam, speakers and a microphone. A memory card reader is on board, as well as USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C and Thunderbolt 4. The entry-level version will cost around $1,175 and is expected to be available from mid-November.
