The Framework Laptop 12 launched earlier this year as a 12-inch laptop with a touchscreen display that has support for a stylus. While the laptop has been available to pre-order for a few months now, the official stylus has just been released.
Called the Framework Laptop 12 Stylus, it supports the USI 2.0 standard and has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It also has tilt support, two programmable buttons, a replaceable tip, and an 80mAh rechargeable battery that is also replaceable. The stylus has a diameter of 10mm, weighs 15 grams, and charges via USB-C.
The Framework Laptop 12 Stylus is available in Black, Lavender, Bubblegum, Sage, and Gray, the same colors as the Laptop 12, so buyers can match their stylus and computer. Framework is selling the stylus on its own, although at the time of writing, it is out of stock.
There's also the option to add the stylus to your Laptop 12's pre-order build. Framework says those who already have a pending Laptop 12 pre-order can even modify it to include the Laptop.
The Framework Laptop 12 Stylus is priced at $59, and while there are cheaper USI 2.0 styluses such as the Metapen USI 2.0 Stylus Pen G1 (available on Amazon for $29.99), Framework's stylus has the advantage of a replaceable battery.
In addition to the stylus, Framework has also released new accessories for the Framework Desktop such as the DeskPi RackMate 10-inch 2U Mini-ITX Shelf and the Framework Desktop Handle. The former is a $35 metal tray for the Framework Desktop's mainboard and power supply, while the latter is a $19 grip for the Framework Desktop case. Both are available on the Framework marketplace.
