OnePlus continues to release information about its upcoming flagship device, the OnePlus 15, scheduled for an October 27 launch event in China. The latest details confirm the device's power system, highlighting the largest battery capacity ever featured in a OnePlus smartphone. We are talking about a massive 7,300mAh battery that will also reach the global version of the OnePlus 15.
The company officially revealed on Weibo that the OnePlus 15 will house a 7,300mAh battery. This big capacity is complemented by support for 120W wired charging, along with 50W wireless charging and bypass charging, a feature that will allow you to use the phone by connecting to a power outlet to preserve the health of your battery. This is especially useful for heavy, intensive gaming.

Furthermore, an early listing from Amazon France—spotted by Equal Leaks—indicates that the global version of the OnePlus 15 will maintain this same 7,300mAh battery capacity as the Chinese model. The same source also spotted a listing for the 16GB RAM + 512GB OnePlus 15 on Amazon UK with a price of £949. You can also expect a more affordable version with 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage, as well as a top variant with up to 1TB of storage.
In terms of processing power, the OnePlus 15 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset—recently confirmed by Geekbench—paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone is also equipped with a dedicated P3 display chip, intended to enhance performance, particularly during gaming sessions.
For display technology, the device is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch X3 OLED panel supplied by BOE. This screen offers a 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate. Security features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
While the camera specifications have not been officially detailed, reports suggest a configuration centered around a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 main sensor, assisted by two 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 sensors designated for ultra-wide and periscope telephoto functions.
Lastly, software-wise, the OnePlus 15 will run Android 16 out of the box, with the hyped OxygenOS 16 on international units.
