Xiaomi has just released the Redmi K80 Ultra in China with little prospect of a direct global release. While the device may eventually arrive in other markets as the Xiaomi 15T Pro, it can already be picked up under its original name via importers running the Chinese version of HyperOS. Early evidence suggests that Xiaomi will also rebrand the Redmi K90 series for global audiences.
Currently, the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro are anticipated to arrive this autumn following the introduction of the Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro in China. Based on early IMEI database results sourced by XiaomiTime, Xiaomi has already started developing global Redmi K90 variants but under its Poco brand instead. Like this year's Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra (curr. $799.99 on Amazon), these devices are expected to be marketed as the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, with the regular Poco F8 likely following in late spring or early summer 2026.
According to XiaomiTime, Xiaomi is developing both the Redmi K90 and Poco F8 Pro under the codename Annibale with the internal designation 'P11'. As the images below show, these pair currently return the model numbers 2510DRK44C and 2510DPC44G, respectively. Meanwhile, the website asserts that the Poco F8 Ultra and Redmi K90 Pro will line up with 25102PCBEG and 25102RKBEC model numbers while being developed internally as 'Myron' and P11U. Incidentally, early specifications relating to the Redmi K90 Pro have now turned up online courtesy of a reliable leaker too, full details of which we have covered separately.
