Samsung is on the verge of releasing a new set of foldables today at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Nonetheless, the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has already been spotted revealing early details about what is expected to be the final member in the Galaxy S25 series.
To recap, the company introduced the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra simultaneously in January before moving on to the Galaxy S25 Edge in May. According to the WPC, Samsung has also created the Galaxy S25 FE, which the consortium has certified as being Qi 2.1 compatible. Presumably, Samsung will include the magnets necessary to comply with this standard separately in official protective cases though, like the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
On the face of it, the Galaxy S25 FE is the spitting image of last autumn's Galaxy S24 FE (curr. $529.99 on Amazon). Potentially, the new Fan Edition smartphone has slimmer bezels this time around, although it is difficult to determine whether Samsung has made any changes to the device's bottom bezel. Currently, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to maintain an Exynos 2400 chipset too, despite the Exynos 2500 now existing too.
