The Redmi 14C was launched in August 2024 as an entry-level Android smartphone. Leaks and rumors are now suggesting the imminent release of its successor, the Redmi 15C. A new leak has surfaced online, revealing the new design language of the phone along with its color options.
The leak (via NieuweMobiel) suggests that the Redmi 15C will come in four colors: Moonlight Blue, Twilight Orange, Midnight Black, and Mint Green.
Compared to the Redmi 14C, the successor has ditched the circular camera housing and opted for a square module similar to the Redmi Note 14. The leaked images point towards a dual rear camera setup. On the front, the device still retains the waterdrop notch.
Previously, the Redmi 15C was spotted on the FCC certification site, revealing that it will have a 6.9-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. It is certified with a 6,000mAh battery capacity supporting 33W wired charging.
No concrete details have emerged about the processor yet. However, it is said to be a 4G smartphone, likely powered by a MediaTek Helio series chipset. The leaks claims that the Redmi 15C will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to be announced this month.
