A new Casio G-Shock x Hidden collaboration watch is on the way. The Japanese watch company and the streetwear brand delivered their first timepiece, the DW5600HDN227, in 2023. This new model is part of Hidden’s wider “In the Blink of an Eye” collection, which is launching in July 2025.
The new G-Shock x Hidden watch has a white casing, bezel, strap and digital display surround. There are dark green accents, including the Hidden logo on the lower strap, and black wire face protectors. Plus, the Hidden logo is shown in orange when the LED backlight is triggered. Assuming it is the same size as other DW-5600 models like the DW5600UE (curr. $35.80 at Amazon), it will measure 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches).
It is expected to have similar features to the new DW5600WW-7 watch, with a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer, hourly time signals and a multi-function alarm. It should also be water resistant to 200 m with a five year battery life estimate. Plus, it should have a fully automatic calendar and remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month.
The new Casio G-Shock x Hidden DW-5600 series watch will go on sale at two of Hidden’s online stores. It will be officially released at hiddenppf.com at 3PM on Friday, July 11th. However, members at hiddenrsrch.com will get early access to purchase the timepiece from 12PM on Friday, July 11th, at this second site. The company has yet to announce the price of this product.
Whether or not the watch will also be sold at Casio’s online store in the US remains to be seen. It is worth noting that the first collaboration watch from the two brands quickly sold out; it is unclear how many units of this new watch will be available.
