Casio has unveiled the new G-Shock GA-B2100-1A1PRX watch in China. This limited edition timepiece celebrates Xi'an city, the capital of Shaanxi province. It is said to be inspired by the ancient city of Chang'an and Tang Dynasty Poetry.
Casio's G-Shock Xi'an city limited edition GA-B2100-1A1PRX watch is based on the standard GA-B2100-1A1, an all black model with a negative digital display. However, the new model has blue accents on the watch dial and a custom strap, with a blue-white ink pattern. On the watch strap are outlines of landmarks like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and a Terracotta Army soldier. Plus, it comes in a customized scroll-shaped gift box.
Features of the GA-B2100 series watches include support for world time and Bluetooth connectivity, with a range of settings and tools provided through the Casio Watches smartphone app. These timepieces also have a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. They also offer Tough Solar charging, a double LED backlight, and 200 m water resistance. Each watch features the brand's Carbon Core Guard structure, with a resin casing and strap.
The Casio G-Shock GA-B2100-1A1PRX watch will go on sale in China on July 21st. Only 600 units of this regional model will be available, and it will only be sold in physical stores.
