After showing some love to its Edifice EFS lineup, Casio has now added five new models to its MTS-115D line, all of which are now officially listed on its Japanese website. The budget-friendly series is part of Casio’s Standard analog lineup and throws together some solid specs - like sapphire crystal, a full stainless-steel build, and basic water resistance.
The new models include MTS-115D-1AV (black dial), MTS-115D-2A1V (navy), MTS-115D-2A2V (light blue), MTS-115D-7AV (silver), and MTS-115D-8AV (gray). All five feature very minimal stick markers, three-hand analog movement with date display, and classic case styling without any oversized elements. While this is not a sporty release in any capacity, it should serve well as a strictly straightforward, everyday option.
Each model is equipped with a stainless-steel case and bracelet, and comes with 50-meter water resistance and a one-touch three-fold clasp. They’re powered by a quartz movement with a claimed accuracy of ±20 seconds per month and a 3-year battery life using the SR621SW cell. The watches weigh around 112g and measure 47 × 41.3 × 8.8 mm, which should wear well on most wrists without looking bulky.
One of the key selling points here is sapphire crystal, which is a somewhat rare in this price range, especially combined with stainless-steel and a three-year battery. For an affordable quartz watch that doesn’t rely on plastic or resin, this is actually quite impressive.
Casio hasn’t yet announced international pricing or availability, but the listing suggests a release timeline within July 2025.
