Casio has launched a second watch in its 2025 Love The Sea And The Earth range in Japan: the G-Shock Baby-G BGA-2800K-7A. Also known as the BGA-2800K-7AJR, it joins the GW-6905K-7A, which was recently revealed as part of the brand’s collaboration with the International Cetacean Education Research Centre (ICERC) Japan.
The BGA-2800K-7A has a light blue and white design, inspired by the finless porpoise. This round hybrid watch has a resin casing and strap, with the ICERC Japan logo printed on the band and the Love The Sea And The Earth motif engraved on the caseback. Plus, a blue in-dial ring at the bottom of the watch face is said to resemble a bubble.
This BGA-2800 series timepiece is radio-controlled (Multiband 6), with support for world time; users are offered 48 cities and a Home City Time swap function. There is a countdown timer, a 1/100th second stopwatch and five daily alarms. An LED backlight helps you to read the watch when it is dark, and the calendar is fully automatic. Plus, the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM and features the brand’s Tough Solar charging technology.
The Casio G-Shock Baby-G BGA-2800K-7A watch will be sold in Japan for ¥ 25,300 (~$171). It is expected to be released in this market on August 1st, alongside the GW-6905K-7A. Whether or when this model could launch in other regions like North America or Europe is unclear.
