Casio has officially listed two new all-metal G-Shock watches for sale in the US - GMW-B5000D-1C and GM-B2100SD-1C - both rooted in some of the most recognizable designs in the G-Shock lineup. We have extensively covered these watches recently via past leaks and official reports.
The GMW-B5000D-1C is a radio-controlled digital G-Shock with a classic square face and a polished full-metal stainless steel build. It’s based on the original DW-5000C, which means it retains the signature layout of the model while incorporating Bluetooth connectivity, Multiband 6 radio sync, Tough Solar charging, and a full STN LCD. Other core features include a backlit display, world time with automatic DST, 1/100-sec stopwatch, countdown timer, and five daily alarms.
The GM-B2100SD-1C, on the other hand, is a full-metal octagonal analog-digital hybrid that is based on the extremely popular "CasiOak" design language. It features a stainless steel bezel and band with a matching black dial and red accents on the third hand. The watch includes a fully analog day wheel, a digital sub-dial, and LED backlight. Bluetooth syncing takes care of auto time adjustment and smartphone control via the Casio app. The GM-B2100SD-1C also runs on Tough Solar, gets you a full calendar, and includes the usual suite of stopwatch, alarm, and timer functions. It’s water-resistant to 200 meters.
The appeal here with these two watches is more visual than anything - these models are essentially tweaking familiar templates with minor design upgrades that help distinguish them from earlier full-metal releases.
Pricing is also consistent with previous full-metal releases in the US. The GMW-B5000D-1C and the GM-B2100SD-1C are both listed at $550. They are now available for purchase directly via Casio USA’s online store.
