Finally, CD Project Red has unveiled the latest, and supposedly final update for Cyberpunk 2077. Update 2.3 brings several new features and improvements to the game including support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.1 as well as frame generation. There are also new quests and new vehicles to unlock, along with new ways of getting around Night City. The update will be available on most platforms tomorrow, July 17.

The update was detailed during the latest REDstreams livestream (linked below) and the developers shared the new features and content coming to Cyberpunk 2077. Starting with new features, support for FSR3.1 with frame generation is coming to the game. The team has also worked with AMD for FSR4 implementation which will arrive later in the year. Furthermore, players will also get Intel XeSS 2.0 with XeSS frame generation as the developers want to add support for all the latest technologies.

There are also HDR improvements, Intel HDR10+ support, and VRR support for consoles coming with update 2.3.

Coming to new content, there are four new vehicles – three cars and one bike – and new quests to unlock them. Vehicle customization has been improved as well with new paint jobs, as well as the ability to customize bikes. There is a new auto drive feature which, as the name suggests, let’s players sit back while the car drives them to their destination, of course following traffic rules along the way.

The auto drive feature comes with a new cinematic camera that lets players enjoy the scenery rather than being locked in first person or third person view. The cinematic camera can also be used with the new taxi system as players will be able to call a Delamain taxi, sit in the back with Johnny Silverhand, and reach their destination.

Photo mode in Cyberpunk 2077 will get an upgrade as well allowing players to change lighting, NPCs and their poses, weather, add stickers and effects, among other creative opportunities.

At the time of writing, the full patch notes have not been shared but the official website should be updated sometime today, July 16. The update, as mentioned earlier, will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles on July 17. The Switch 2 and Mac update will arrive later but no timeline was given.
