The first image of Samsung's next ultra-large Android tablet has now emerged online. Expected to arrive this autumn, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra appears set to replace the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (curr. $939 - refurbished on Amazon) with narrower display bezels and a slimmer notch. On top of that, recent leaks suggest that Samsung will turn to MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chipset for its next circa 14-inch tablet with a larger battery to boot.
According to Digital Chat Station, Huawei is not far behind with an alternative of its own. For context, the company already offers a competitor to the iPad Pro 13 by way of the MatePad Pro 13.2. Reportedly, Huawei has an even larger model in development, although it remains to be seen whether this will replace the company's existing 13-inch multimedia tablet.
Specifically, Digital Chat Station reports that Huawei has developed a tablet featuring a 14.2-inch OLED display. A flagship device, the unnamed device is expected to line up alongside a much smaller alternative, full details of which we have covered separately. Seemingly, Huawei's larger option will combine a recent Kirin 9 series SoC with fast charging and a large battery capacity. However, it remains to be seen if the tablet will get anywhere close to the 100 W wired charging and 13,000 mAh battery that Digital Chat Station also mentioned in their recent Weibo post.
