Samsung has put a Flipkart teaser website online and officially confirmed that the Galaxy F36 5G will be unveiled this Saturday, July 19. The teaser images show a mid-range smartphone with a flat, glossy frame, three rear cameras, and a leather-textured back in blue or red.
The teaser primarily focuses on the AI features of the mid-range smartphone. Specifically, Samsung is promoting an object eraser, which can remove unwanted objects from photos, the image clipper, which can extract subjects, as well as edit suggestions that can help with editing photos. Furthermore, the design suggests that the Galaxy F36 5G is not based on the Galaxy A36 5G (from $399 on Amazon), but rather on the Galaxy M36 5G. It is not yet known whether Samsung has changed any specifications or only slightly adjusted the exterior design.
Either way, the Galaxy M36 5G is powered on the Samsung Exynos 1380 and features a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is protected from scratches by Gorilla Glass Victus+. Samsung also opts for a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 13MP f/2.2 selfie camera. Lastly, the Galaxy M36 5G's battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh and can be charged via USB-C with up to 25 watts.
