8BitDo's Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - Mecha Break edition is already available to buy after being on pre-order for a week. Unfortunately, the Amazon listing says the new keyboard is temporarily out of stock. Thankfully, there's one other place to purchase it from.
The special edition mechanical keyboard is also available to buy on 8BitDo's eShop (online store) which serves customers globally. The keyboard has the same $119.99 price as its Amazon pre-order listing. However, the keyboard won't begin to ship until the 22nd of July.
Save for the delayed shipping date, the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - Mecha Break edition purchased from the eShop is the same as from Amazon. It will come with 8BitDo's Dual Super Buttons, a 2.4GHz adapter, 21 extra PBT keycaps, a keycaps puller, and three fun stickers.
While the keyboard is out of stock on Amazon US, it is currently available to pre-order on Amazon UK for £104.99. Although, those in the UK will have to wait a bit to get their hands on it as the keyboard won't be released until September 19.
The Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - Mecha Break edition has 87 keys with Kailh Glaze Jellyfish Pro switches, RGB backlight, a hot swappable PCB, and the option to connect via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB.
