A lot of leaks and rumors surrounding the Pixel 10 series have shed light on key details ahead of its expected release. Google is said to unveil the new phones this August and up till now, it was believed that the event will take place around the same time as last year's Pixel 9 reveal. However, it looks like Google is planning for a later date this time around, and much closer to the expected iPhone 17 series release.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman on X, as well The Verge and other publications, Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series on August 20. He was one of the media personalities to receive the invite for the Made by Google event which clearly states the latest additions to the Pixel portfolio will be unveiled. Last year, the Pixel 9 series was revealed on August 13 but this time the announcement is happening a week later. This puts the Pixel 10 release closer to the iPhone 17 launch, expected to be early second week of September.
The Pixel lineup is said to include the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The event will also bring new earbuds and smartwatches, and specifications for the latter were recently leaked as well. As for the Pixel phones, they will be powered by the Tensor G5 SoC and the base Pixel 10 is said to get a camera upgrade. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, if the leaks are accurate, will be the first foldable with an IP68 rating.
As for costs, the European price leaks suggest that the Pixel 10 will cost €899 (128 GB) and €999 (256 GB). The Pixel 10 Pro will be priced at €1,099 (128 GB), €1,122 (256 GB), €1,329 (512 GB), and €1,589 (1 TB). The larger Pixel 10 Pro XL is said to cost €1,299 (256 GB), €1,429 (512 GB), and €1,689 (1 TB) while the foldable will start at €1,899 (256 GB), going up to €2,029 (512 GB) and €2,289 (1 TB).
It should be noted that Google has not publicly shared any information about the upcoming Pixel 10 series or the Pixel Watch 4, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
