Google is still rumoured to be over a month away from officially unveiling successors to the Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro XL (curr. $726.55 - refurbished on Amazon). For reference, various leaks have indicated that the company will host its next hardware event on August 20. In the meantime, Android Headlines claims to have obtained a nearly complete specification list for both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
In short, little appears to separate the pair besides their display sizes and associated resolutions. Even then, Google is carrying over last year's sizes and resolutions, which will come in at 6.3 inches and 2,856 x 1,280 pixels for the Pixel 10 Pro but 6.8 inches and 2,992 x 1,344 pixels for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. While both are reputed to get brighter than their predecessors too, their refresh rates will remain unchanged at 120 Hz.
According to Android Headlines, Google plans to offer both smartphones with 16 GB of RAM and a choice between 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage just like their Pixel 9 counterparts. Similarly, 50 MP primary, 48 MP telephoto, 48 MP ultra-wide and 42 MP front-facing cameras will return, albeit augmented by Google's Tensor G5 chipset this time around.
Curiously, the website adds that even the Pixel 10 Pro XL will support 29 W wired and 15 W Qi2 wireless charging, despite 37 W theoretically being possible with the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Battery capacities are set to rise between generations, though. However, these will only increase by a few per cent to 4,870 mAh for this year's Pro and 5,200 mAh for its Pro XL sibling.
