A Google Pixel 10 Pro prototype has appeared in numerous pictures, which also confirm some specifications of the next-generation flagship phone. The prototype also shows some minor design changes compared to the Pixel 9 Pro.

After today’s leak from two reliable sources seemingly revealed the exact launch date of the Google Pixel 10 series, Mystic Leaks has now published a series of photos that are reportedly showing a "DVT1.0" prototype of the Google Pixel 10 Pro. The smartphone identifies itself as a Google Pixel 10 Pro in the system settings, but the phone is still running on an older beta version of Android 16.

Compared to the Google Pixel 9 Pro (from $999 on Amazon), the Pixel 10 Pro only receives some minor design changes. For instance, Google has adjusted the position of the SIM card slot at the top and the speaker openings at the bottom. The camera bar appears slightly thicker than on the predecessor, and since Google is rumored to utilize the exact same cameras as on the Pixel 9 Pro, this could indicate a slightly slimmer chassis.

The glass cover of the camera bar now extends almost to the edge, as the metal frame appears to be significantly sleeker. The prototype also features 16GB RAM and 256GB of mass storage. Furthermore, the photos reinforce earlier rumors regarding the specifications of the Google Tensor G5 processor, which apparently sports one ARM Cortex-X4 prime core, five Cortex-A725 performance cores and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores.

If previous rumors are accurate, few hardware upgrades are expected beyond the Tensor G5. Instead, the Pixel 10 Pro will likely be marketed with a multitude of new AI features, and the cameras are also said to receive new features, led by 4K slow-motion at 120 frames per second and native 8K recording at 30 fps, which can be edited more easily with Google’s new AI tools.
