Details about the Pixel 10 series are hotting up. Just yesterday, multiple sources claimed to have received information about Google's next Pixel launch event. Running counter to recent suggestions about an early summer event, both sources reported that the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold would be on shelves by August 20 after a launch event on August 13.
While Arsène Lupin is sticking to that date, Android Headlines has changed its tune. According to the latter, it has since been informed that Google has pushed back its next Pixel event to a week later than earlier rumours posited. The same change is said to apply to the four smartphones' on-shelf dates, which are now set for August 28.
Apparently, Google hopes to open pre-orders on August 20 too, presumably just as its launch event finishes up. For the time being, Google has not publicly commented on any rumours about its next Pixel launch event. In the meantime, early details about a potential Pixel 9 Pro (curr. $999 on Amazon) successor have turned up online, full details of which we have covered separately.
