Google hasn’t even announced the Pixel 10 series and we already have leaks coming in for the Pixel 10a. The ‘a’ series phones are the budget friendly options that retain the same processor as the current generation but make some other cut backs like in the camera and battery department. Speaking of which, a leaked photo of an alleged Pixel 10a back cover hints at the rear camera design for the next generation budget Pixel phone.
Spotted by Android Authority, a listing on Goofish by a user named Shirotaku shows a black back cover, said to be for an engineering sample of the Pixel 10a. The product was listed as available for purchase initially, but that option has since been removed, even though the listing is still up. The cover shows a similar camera cutout as the Pixel 9a but with the flash cutout moved further to the right, away from the cameras.
That’s about all the information available through the listing and the image. It is likely that the rest of the design will remain the same as the Pixel 9a. It should be noted that Google has not shared any information on the upcoming Pixel phones so take this with a grain of salt.
The Pixel 10 series is expected to be unveiled in August, around the same time as the previous generation. If the rumored Pixel 10a follows the same timeline as the Pixel 9a, it could arrive in March of next year. The Pixel 9a is currently 10% off on Amazon but it is not a Prime Day deal. The 128 GB variant of the phone is listed for $449 and is available in four colors: Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain.
