One-Netbook has finally revealed when it plans to start offering OneXSugar Sugar 1, almost seven months after the company first teased the Android-based handheld. To recap, the company then previewed the device in March before hinting at a launch timeline last month.
Now, it has confirmed that the OneXSugar Sugar 1 will be available before the end of the month. Specifically, One-Netbook intends to start selling its convertible gaming handheld from 16:00 UTC on July 21 via Indiegogo. As far as we can tell, the device will remain exclusive to the popular crowdfunding platform at least initially.
Pricing remains a mystery for the time being, though. Presumably, the device will be cheaper than One-Netbook's equivalent Windows handhelds like the OneXFly F1 Pro (curr. $1,539 on Amazon), given the Ayaneo Pocket S2's $439 starting price with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset.
As the image above shows, the OneXSugar Sugar 1 will also feature hardware like two OLED displays and Hall effect joysticks. Presumably, One-Netbook will confirm full device specifications before release, too. Please see the videos below for more details about One-Netbook's latest gaming handheld.
