Casio has officially announced that the new Edifice EFK100 series watches will be released in the US. These watches are already confirmed for other markets like the UK and Japan. A rumor earlier in July 2025 suggested that these timepieces were on the way to the country.
Now, the Casio EFK100D-2A (blue dial), EFK100D-7A (white dial), and EFK100CD-1A (black, forged carbon dial) watches have appeared at the brand’s online store in the US. The product pages confirm that the EFK100D-2A and EFK100D-7A timepieces will retail for $280, and the EFK100CD-1A for $300. They will be released here at some point in July 2025, though an exact date has yet to be provided. Prospective customers are invited to sign up for an email notification of the range’s launch with a free Casio ID account.
The Casio Edifice EFK100 is the brand’s first mechanical watch series. These timepieces are powered by a mechanical movement with an average daily rate of -35 to +45 seconds and a 40 hour power reserve. The movement can be viewed through the see-through case back, with the analog dial featuring three hands and a date display. Each version has a stainless steel casing and strap, and the dial is protected by sapphire crystal glass. They are magnetic resistant, 100 m water resistant and also have a hacking function for the seconds hand.
It is unclear whether the green dial version of this watch, the Casio Edifice EFK100D-3A, will launch in the US at some point. It appears that the premium EFK100XPB-1A variant with forged carbon dial and casing will not be released in the US; this model recently arrived in the UK.
