The Casio Edifice EFK-100D-2A, EFK-100D-3A and EFK-100CD-1A are on the way to the UK. These are the brand’s first mechanical watches, which are set to launch in this country in the coming weeks. These watches can already be pre-ordered in Japan, and the US pricing was also recently leaked.

Casio has announced details about the UK launch of the Edifice EFK-100D series, its first ever mechanical watches. These timepieces are already available to pre-order in Japan and are expected to be released in the US in the near future.

Now, listings on Casio’s UK website indicate that the EFK-100D-2A (blue dial) and EFK-100D-3A (green dial) watches will be sold in this market for £269. The EFK-100CD-1A, which has a black forged carbon dial, will be slightly more expensive at £289. According to the product pages, these timepieces will go on sale here at some point in August 2025, with customers invited to sign up to receive an email notification when they launch.

The Casio Edifice EFK-100D and EFK-100CD watches are said to be inspired by “high-performance” sports cars. They each feature a mechanical movement with a power reserve of 40 hours and an average daily rate of -35 to +45 seconds. The movement can be viewed through the transparent screw lock case back. These analog watches have three hands with a hacking function for the seconds hand, and a date display.

Casio’s mechanical Edifice watches are magnetic resistant, water resistant to 100 m and have a stainless steel casing and band. The watches measure 43.5 x 39 x 12.5 mm (~1.7 x 1.5 x 0.5 inches) and weigh 148 g (~5.2 oz). The two other watches in this range, the EFK100D-7A (white dial) and the EFK-100XPB-1A (carbon casing and a black resin band), will not be released in the UK.
