Casio is about to release two new Vintage watches in the UK: the A1000A-7 and the A1000G-9. These watches follow the gold and silver Casio Vintage Collection x A.P.C. watches, which were released in late 2024.
These new Casio Vintage A1000 series watches are described as premium timepieces, with a hairline finish on the stainless steel casing, bezel and watch face surrounding the digital display. Each watch measures 39.6 x 38 x 7.3 mm (~1.6 x 1.5 0.3 inches), weighs 83 g (~2.9 oz) and comes with a stainless steel band with a one-touch 3-fold clasp. The two models are almost identical, with the A1000A-7 the classic silver color stainless steel, while the A1000G-9 is gold ion plated.
Features of these A1000 watches include a daily alarm, hourly time signals and a 1/100 second stopwatch. Users can choose between 12 or 24-hour time formats, the calendar is fully automatic, and the timepieces are said to be accurate to within 30 seconds each month. Plus, a white Super Illuminator LED backlight should help you to read the display in low lighting. They are also water resistant and should run for around three years on a replaceable CR1616 battery.
In the UK, the Casio Vintage A1000A-7 watch will retail for £115, while the A1000G-9 watch will be priced at £165. It is unclear when these timepieces will be released, with the company simply marking them as ‘coming soon’. Whether or when they could launch in other countries also remains to be seen.
