The Casio A1000ACD-7 and the A1000ACG-9, two new watches designed in collaboration with A.P.C., are now available in Europe. The models have a vintage-inspired aesthetic and feature the fashion brand’s logo in a couple of places. Tools include a daily alarm, a stopwatch and the Super Illuminator backlight.

Casio and French fashion brand A.P.C. have teamed up to bring two new watches to Europe: the A1000ACD-7 and the A1000ACG-9. The unisex models sit in Casio’s Vintage collection and have a design is similar to that of the original A1000, launched in the seventies.

The A1000ACD-7 and the A1000ACG-9 have an LCD screen, a mirrored dial and a steel octagonal frame and bracelet. The A.P.C. logo is engraved on the back of the watch case, as well as the bracelet’s adjustable clasp. The A1000ACD-7 has a silver finish, while the A1000ACG-9 is gold colored.

Aside from the design, the watches have the same features as other A1000 models like the A1000M-1BEF (curr. €84 at Amazon). These include a 1/100th-second stopwatch, a daily alarm, an hourly signal and an automatic calendar. There is the Casio Super Illuminator LED backlight to make the screen easier to read in the dark. Plus, the watch is said to be accurate to within 30 seconds per month and can run for up to three years powered by a CR1616 battery. You can now buy the A.P.C. Casio A1000ACD-7 and A1000ACG-9 watches for €169 and €189, respectively. It is unclear whether or when the products will launch in other markets like the US or the UK.
