New Casio G-Shock Flame Inside watch collection appears
Casio has unveiled a new G-Shock Flame Inside watch collection in Japan. The range includes four watches: the GA-100FL-1A, the GA-100FL-8A, the GA-2100FL-1A and the GA-2100FL-8A. The company says that the designs of these models represent challenges.
According to Casio, the 8A’s orange gradient watch face represents passion, and the 1A’s blue gradient symbolizes belief. All versions have a black gradient band that is have a pattern that resembles smoke. The GA-100 series watches are antimagnetic with a two-year battery life. Features include 48 city time zones, a 1/1000-second stopwatch, up to five alarms and an automated backlight with an afterglow function. The GA-2100 wearables have a longer three-year expected battery life, and the Super Illuminator backlight with the same afterglow function. Also included are time settings for 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, alarms and an hourly chime.
You can now pre-order the Casio G-Shock GA-100FL-1A and GA-100FL-8A for ¥22,000 (~$145) and the GA-2100FL-1A and GA-2100FL-8A for ¥20,900 (~$138). It is unclear when these four watches could launch in other markets like the US, where you can currently buy older GA-2100 and GA-100 models like the Casio G-Shock GA-100-1A2CR watch (curr. $71.44 at Amazon).
