Casio G-Shock GMB2100SD-1A Full Metal watch now available at US retailers
The Casio G-Shock GMB2100SD-1A Full Metal watch is now available in the US. The new model recently became available to pre-order in Japan. Now, several third-party retailers in North America have listed the wearable.
You can now buy the G-Shock GMB2100SD-1A at Arizona Fine Time for $550. While this is a US-based retailer, it ships to many countries worldwide. The Casio watch has also appeared at Saltzman’s Watches and Smyth Jewelers for the same price. It is unclear when this model will be available to purchase directly from Casio in the US. In terms of other countries, the model has also been listed on the brand’s official website in New Zealand with a NZ$999.00 RRP, though it is not available to purchase yet.
The Casio G-Shock GMB2100SD-1A is similar to the older GM-B2100D-1A, with a hybrid analog-digital display. The main difference between the two is the colors, with the latest model offering a darker gray background and lighter silver elements, including the watch hands and hour markers. The increased contrast between these two colors makes the wearable easier to read compared to its predecessor. This is further enhanced in low lighting by an LED light. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity with features and controls offered in the Casio Watches app and up to seven months of battery life thanks to solar charging. When the Casio G-Shock GMB2100SD-1A Full Metal watch will roll out to more markets remains to be seen.
