Microsoft unveils new Xbox Wireless Headset with Dolby Atmos, 20h runtime and better microphone for $109.99
The new Xbox Wireless Headset looks almost identical to the older model (approx. US$170 on Amazon, Starfield Special Edition), but the new model offers several improvements. First and foremost, the battery life has been increased from 15 to 20 hours, and a full charge via USB-C takes three hours as usual. The new model's ear cups dials have removed the green color accent, but still enable independent adjustment of in-game and chat volume.
The improved microphone is designed to suppress disturbing ambient noise more effectively and can be automatically muted when it is folded up. The new headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 and can therefore be used not only with an Xbox One or Xbox Series X, but also with a PC or smartphone. The headset supports spatial sound, both via Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone:X.

Details here
There are hardly any changes to the basic features; the Xbox Wireless Headset still has dynamic drivers with a diameter of 40 millimeters, which should be able to reproduce a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The ear pads combine PU synthetic leather with foam padding, and the headband is also padded to ensure a high level of comfort despite the weight of 312 grams.
Prices and availability
The new Xbox Wireless Headset is already available according to the press release for US$109.99; the same price can be found at the Xbox Store.
