Pricing and release date now official for AYN Odin2 Portal OLED gaming handheld
AYN Technologies has raced ahead by confirming pricing for the Odin2 Portal, shortly after outlining full specifications for its latest gaming handheld. Predictably, the company will offer the Odin2 Portal in three pricing tiers, as it did previously with the Odin2 (curr. $449 on Amazon). Please note that two of these will only be available while the Odin2 Portal is sold through Indiegogo, not its retail store.
Moreover, it remains to be seen against how many units AYN Technologies will honour its lowest Odin2 Portal prices. Specifically, the Odin2 Portal will start at $299 in its Base form with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, this is only true of AYN Technologies' 'Super Early Bird' pricing tier.
By contrast, the same configuration will eventually rise to $349 when sold directly by AYN Technologies. According to the information that the company has provided so far, this $50 surcharge will apply across all Odin2 Portal variants. As it stands, AYN Technologies will bring the device to Indiegogo on October 23 at 12:00 UTC. In summary, the device will combine a 7-inch OLED display with a 6,600 mAh battery and an actively cooled Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. For reference, AYN Technologies' pricing tiers will be as follows:

- $299 - Base (8 GB RAM/128 GB storage)
- $379 - Pro (12 GB RAM/512 GB storage)
- $479 - Max (16 GB RAM/1 TB storage)
