The Lenovo Legion Go 8.8" handheld gaming PC, featuring AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 16GB RAM, and a 144Hz WQXGA display, has dropped to its lowest-ever price on Amazon for the very first time ever. A great deal for portable, high-performance gaming.

The Lenovo Legion Go 8.8" handheld gaming PC has just dropped to its lowest-ever price of $499.99 on Amazon, making this a very attractive deal for gamers. Powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, the Legion Go offers powerful gaming capabilities in a portable form factor. With detachable controllers and its 8.8-inch WQXGA touchscreen with a 144Hz refresh rate, it is a pretty neat device — great for gaming on the go. This is the first time the price has dropped to $499.99 too, as evident by the camelcamelcamel pricing graph below:

From our hands-on review of the Lenovo Legion Go, we noted its excellent ergonomics and impressive FPS mode, which adds a desktop-like experience to the handheld's gaming prowess. While it shines with its Ryzen Z1 Extreme and handles modern games well, we did observe a few shortcomings—most notably, its battery life. Compared to competitors like the ROG Ally X or Ayaneo Kun, the battery is smaller and drains quicker, and the kickstand design could use some improvement. Additionally, the FPS ring tends to attract scratches, but the overall experience of gaming on this device remains solid, especially considering its performance and display quality.

The Legion Go also includes two USB 4.0 ports, making sure you’re well-equipped for multimedia tasks. While the current market is competitive with devices like the Steam Deck and the aforementioned ROG Ally X, this price drop makes the Lenovo Legion Go a strong contender, offering gamers a high-quality handheld option for a more affordable price.

For those seeking a portable gaming device that packs a punch, this might be the right time to jump on this offer while the price remains at this low.
