New Nintendo Switch 2 rumor suggests the next-gen gaming handheld will be announced before November ^↺

Nintendo has been fairly quiet about the Switch 2. The company only confirmed that the announcement for its next-gen gaming handheld will happen "within this fiscal year." After that, there have been multiple rounds of leaks, with one revealing the alleged design and the other the possible specs.

Now, PH Brazil, regarded as a reasonably credible leakster, claims that the Nintendo Switch 2 could be announced before the end of this month. The leaker believes that the possible announcement date is set for Monday or Tuesday, which are October 28 and October 29, respectively.

PH Brazil notes that Nintendo will hold an investor conference on November 5, and the company's current lineup is a bit weak. Without having anything substantial to present to the investors, they are less likely to show interest. That's why the leaker believes that the Switch 2 announcement needs to happen before November.

It's also worth noting that another prominent leaker named Pyoro changed their user name on X. According to the users on the platform and Reddit, the name change and change of the banner to Alarmo is hinting at an imminent Nintendo Switch 2 announcement.

But again, all of these are nothing but speculations. PH Brazil wasn't clear about the source of the information, and Pyoro may have updated their X account to hint at something else. So, take all of these with a fair amount of salt (Switch Lite curr. $178.99 on Amazon).
