RG50XX: Anbernic knock-off released with Nintendo Switch Lite looks
Anbernic has only just released the RG CubeXX. However, it the RG CubeXX is unlikely to be the company's last release of the year. Instead, we suspect that it will do its best to maintain its monthly release schedule.
With that in mind, it has already confirmed that the RG P01 wireless controller will be available soon. Added to that, there has been evidence to suggest that the RG406P and RG408 are on the way too. Now, NITTRX has brought to our attention what appears to be an Anbernic knock-off called the RG50XX.

While the device shares Anbernic's naming scheme, it appears to be a new white-label product rather than one sold by a recognised manufacturer. As far as we can tell, the RG50XX is only sold on Amazon for now, where it costs between $73.99 and $79.99.
Based on these listings, the device features a 5-inch display within a 190 x 23 x 92 mm housing that outputs at 800 x 480 pixels. Thus, the RG50XX has an unusual 5:3 aspect ratio. Moreover, the RG50XX is said to utilise the lesser-seen Rockchip RK3128, as well as a USB Type-A port and a single pair of shoulder buttons. Ultimately, the RG50XX resembles a Switch Lite (curr. $170 on Amazon). It remains to be seen how well the former performs when emulating popular systems like the N64 and PS1 that are listed on its Amazon product listings, though.
