Casio G-Shock Full Metal 2100 Series: Two new watches on the way to more countries
Two new Casio G-Shock Full Metal 2100 Series watches have arrived in Europe. These are the GM-B2100SD-1A and the GMB2100AD-5A, already available in the US. The two models have identical features, but a different appearance.
The GM-B2100SD-1A first arrived in Japan earlier in October with a dark gray watch face and silver accents. It has been compared to the older GM-B2100D-1A, though the darker background and lighter silver elements heighten the contrast and make it easier to read. The GMB2100AD-5A has a pink beige watch face with the same stainless steel bezel, casing and bracelet as the GM-B2100SD-1A.
Features of these two Casio G-Shock watches include Bluetooth for smartphone app connectivity, with features like automatic time settings, reminders and a phone finder. You can select from 38 time zones, set a countdown or alarm, and use a 1/100th-second stopwatch. Plus, the wearables feature Casio’s Tough Solar technology for over seven months of battery life with typical use.
The Casio G-Shock GM-B2100SD-1A and the Casio G-Shock GMB2100AD-5A will retail in Europe for €549. Casio ID Members can sign up to receive a notification when the watches are available to purchase. In the US, the GM-B2100SD-1A is available via third-party retailers for $550. The GMB2100AD-5A can be purchased directly from Casio for the same price.
