New Casio GM-S2110 hybrid watches with stainless steel bezel arrive

Casio has launched two new analog-digital watches in the US: the GMS2110-7A6 and the GMS2110-7A9. The models are described as “stylish”, with a stainless steel bezel and a white resin casing and band. The watches also have colored watch faces, metallic purple for the 7A6 and metallic beige for the 7A9.

Aside from the design, the new GM-S2110 watches are identical to older models. Users can choose from 31 world time zones, and the calendar is fully automatic up to the year 2099. According to Casio, the models are accurate within 15 seconds per month. Features include a 1/100th-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms and an hourly chime. An LED backlight, also known as the Super Illuminator, makes the watch easier to read in darker conditions.

Plus, the shock-resistant watches are waterproof up to 20 bar, and a CR1025 battery allows them to run for up to three years. You can now buy the Casio GMS2110-7A6 and GMS2110-7A9 watches in the US for $180, the same price as other GM-S2110 models (curr. reduced to $166.99 at Amazon). The products launched in other markets like the EU earlier this year, where they retail for €179.
