New Casio AE1200WH multifunctional digital watches with ten-year battery life arrive

The Casio AE1200WHUB-3AV and the AE1200WHUB-8AV digital watches have arrived in the US. The classic wearable is described as combining “bold style” with a wide range of features which could be helpful when travelling. The latest AE-12000WHUB watches offer fabric rather than resin, metal or full leather straps.

The AE1200WHUB-3AV combines khaki and black elements with a khaki strap, while the AE1200WHUB-8AV has a black and dark gray color scheme with a black strap. The model offers Multi Time across four cities, with 48 places to choose from and your home time zone shown on a dial in the upper left. Across from this is a world map, indicating your current timezone with highlighted regions. Other features include a 1/100th-second stopwatch, a countdown timer and an LED backlight. Plus, the wearables are said to last for up to ten years on a CR2025 battery and are water resistant to 10 bar or 100 m (~328 ft).

The Casio AE1200WHUB-3AV and AE1200WHUB-8AV watches are now available in the US for $42.95. This is the same price as other more premium versions of the wearable, like the stainless steel AE1200WHD-1A, though this is currently on offer at Amazon for $33. The two new models launched in Europe in October with a retail price of €49.90.
