Nvidia is giving away a new free game worth $99 but only for a short time
The end of the GeForce RTX 40 series is nigh. While Nvidia has not announced anything yet, the company is widely expected to use CES 2025 in January to showcase initial successors like the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. To that end, it looks as though Nvidia is now trying to clear what stock it has left of its higher-end RTX 40 series graphics cards.
Specifically, Nvidia has partnered with Bethesda to give away Indiana Jones and the Great Circle when purchasing some RTX 40 series graphics cards, including laptop variants. As always, there are some caveats with redeeming the game.
For instance, the giveaway is unavailable when purchasing RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 graphics cards. Consequently, the deal is only applicable to RTX 4070 systems or higher, including the highest-rated gaming laptop that we have reviewed this year (curr. $3,429.99 on Amazon). Also, Nvidia stresses that the game is limited to one copy per customer 'while supplies last'.
