Two new free games have been added to the Epic Games Store's free game catalog and will be available until November 21, 14:59 UTC. After that, as the storefront has just revealed, it will replace them with a strategy and adventure game: Beholder.
The game will become free to own before Black Friday, on November 21, and will be up for grabs until November 28. As for the game itself, developed by Warm Lamp Games, Beholder is set in a dystopian world. It has a minimalist art style that enhances the bleak nature of the game's atmosphere.
Players are put through moral dilemmas, with the game having multiple endings based on their chosen decisions. This aspect of Beholder makes it replayable, encouraging players to try different paths to see the other outcomes.
Regarding player reviews, Beholder currently has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, but some critics note that the gameplay mechanics may feel a bit repetitive at one point. Regardless, the game has low hardware requirements, and thanks to that, it will run well even on gaming handhelds (Legion Go curr. $549 on Amazon).
It generally goes for $13.99 when there's no sale in place, but as mentioned earlier, it will become free on Epic Games Store from November 21 to November 28. You can learn more about Beholder from the video attached below.
